I did a post a year ago about How to Send Videos to Clients. In this article I wanted to discuss how to now send photos to clients. There are various ways to deliver photos to people such as filesharing apps like DropBox and GoogleDrive. However those platforms don’t offer the same flexibility as I have found from sites like Pixieset. As I have been using it for awhile, I decided to give my review of Pixieset below.
Who This Product is For:
Pixieset is mainly used by photographers to deliver photos to clients. With its features it also works great as a collaboration tool providing ways to proof and access photos between photographer and client.
Price:
Pricing for Pixieset varies mostly in storage space. As of today, Pixieset offers the following prices for their plans.
Free, 3GB: $0/mo
Basic, 10GB: $8/mo
Plus, 100GB: $16/mo
Pro, 1000GB: $24/mo
Ultimate, Unlimited GB: $40/mo
What You Get:
Password Protection
Lightroom Plugin / Publishing Service
Mobile Ready
Unlimited Traffic
Unlimited Galleries
Individual Photo Download
Control File Sizes
What You Won’t Get:
One drawback that I noticed when using Pixieset is that you are unable to have an option for downloading Video Files. However, Pixieset does allow you to implement a video cover for your individual gallery collections. To implement you will need to upload your video to either Youtube or Vimeo and add the video as a background URL.
Summary: Pixieset Review
To wrap up, i’ve been using Pixieset for a year now and it is my preferred method of delivering photos to clients. I would like to see future versions of pixieset include options for video downloads.
