Apply for a spot:

A customized portrait session for 1 pet ($150 application fee) at our Pet Photo Studio in South Tampa. (multiple pets optional for an additional $100/pet)

  • A double page spread in the book, Tails of Gratitude - Thank You Notes from People to Their Pets

  • The opportunity to select the photo that will be used on your page in the Coffee Table Book

  • The opportunity to purchase printed artwork of your pet from our custom artwork selection, and purchase your own copy of Tails of Gratitude to display on your coffee table!*

 

How does it work?

WHERE

Sessions will take place at Heartstory’s natural light studio, Suite 104, Loop Earth Building, 17 Market Street, Belconnen, ACT 2617.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

  • A Heartstory studio portrait session available to book on weekdays and weekends at various times. (value $200)

  • A double page spread in the Canberra Kids book featuring our favourite photo of your child and their answers to our fun questionnaire. (value $100)

  • A copy of the Canberra Kids book, which will be designed and published at the conclusion of all the sessions later this year. (value $75)

  • A personal purchasing appointment after your session with access to exclusive Canberra Kids packages as well as all our regular packages.  

  • Sibling photos will be included as part of the session if all children from one family are going in the book. 

  • The option of including the whole family and/or other kids in the session for no extra cost! 

COST

  • $75 Per Pet

  • Additional pets (from the same family and in the same photo session) are $25 each, not including a copy of the book. 

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED

The photos taken on the session are not included. At your purchasing appointment you will see a beautiful collection of photos of your pets (and the family if they came along) and can purchase prints, artwork, albums and digital files. Special packages and upgrades are available just for Canberra Kids families! And don’t forget, we will be donating 5% of all sales to your charity of choice, to support kids in need in our region. Or, your family or child may wish to nominate their own charity! Find out more about our pricing and products here

HOW TO BOOK A SPOT

Fill out the application form on this page, and we will be in touch to book your session. 

A few important things to note

  1. The Canberra Kids book will be published, so you must be willing to give us permission to display photographs of your children in print and online, as part of your involvement in this project. This will include the use of first names in the book and some other details about your pet/family members. Please discuss this with us if you have any concerns.

  2. The charities we have chosen to donate 5% of sales to are [ ]. You or your child/ren can nominate which one of these you’d like your donation to go to, or you may nominate a different charity or organisation that’s important to you!  

  3. The Canberra Kids participation fee of $75 per child and $25 each for additional children is due in full to confirm your booking and is non-refundable. 

  4. We are aiming to complete 56 Canberra Kids sessions by the end of September 2022 to create TWO volumes of the book, which will be ready prior to Christmas – probably early December. This will be confirmed when all sessions are complete.

  5. Your booking will be subject to terms and conditions and other policies, which you can review during the booking process.
